Just a piece of advice to those trying to be good leaders. Don't be pushy, don't EVER be rude, don't be condescending, don't be a dictator, and do not -- by any means -- treat your followers like children.

This year was an amazing run. Our council meetings had its drama, its interruptions, its heated debates, and its tension; but all-in-all we are still a family.  Thank you for being such an amazing group.  I am glad I had the honor and privilege of working with all of you.

 STOP IT!

Today I saw this skit and observed the way that the psychologist kept saying 'STOP IT!' to his patient.  The psychologist does so because he knows that people because so comfortable in their fears that it begins to be an excuse.  These two words are so simple, but so true.  

If you are afraid of something, just stop it. STOP being afraid, move on, and make your life better by telling yourself that you are not afraid.  Tell yourself that you are not afraid and that you will do so by deciding on having the power to be confident.  It. is. simple.  Don't like your life right now? STOP IT and make a better one for yourself.
